Ordinary Outlets, Managed
Secure outlets for staff, guests and contractors, eliminating keys, waste and misuse.
Manage who uses your outlets, and why
Electrical outlets are now every EV driver's best friend, but you may not want every outlet on your property to be an energy giveaway. Give staff and contractors the access they need without leaving outlets open to the public.
Authorize specific users — no shared keys or keypads. Add and revoke access to anyone at any time.
Set current limits to prevent unauthorized high-draw equipment.
Set pricing and accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, and payment cards.
End the free-for-all. Managed access, in minutes.
Aminiti lets you manage who gets to use your outlets, and when. Install the hardware, then use the management portal to make your outlets work according to your rules.
Features
How Aminiti helps
Authorized Use Only
Restrict access to approved users, staff, and community members. Aminiti devices hide away, with no outside keypads or controls to wear out or be vandalized.
Current Limits
Set amperage limits that stop sessions if a user draws more amps than you're willing to provide. This lets you provide power for low-current electronic devices while making the outlet unusable for EV charging and other high-current equipment.
Scheduled Operation
Make equipment available during approved hours only. Reduce noise complaints, misuse, and liability.
Passcode Access
For streamlined access, issue passcodes that provide instant, secured access for casual users without requiring account creation, and no app download (iOS only).
Time Limits
Cap session duration so equipment doesn't get left on, reducing waste and unauthorized use.
Flexible Pay-per-use
Collect fees per session or by duration with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or most credit cards. Enable free access for staff or registered users.

Hardware
Installation options
Aminiti is flexible — here are just a few ways to integrate our hardware

Add an Aminiti Q16 inline relay. For tamper-resistance, use a safety-certified, lockable in-use cover to fully enclose the Q16 and a short, right-angle extension cord to the exterior of the cover. The outlet remains accessible but protected, requiring no rewiring.

Add an Aminiti Q16 inline relay to an existing outlet, and add an Aminiti Keepout Panel, securing the device and providing plug-in access.

Use the Aminiti S16 inline relay. Add a junction box to enclose the S16 device if existing boxes are not suitable.

Implementation
- 1
Install an Aminiti device in-line with each outlet you wish to protect.

- 2
Use the Aminiti web app to create QR signage to enable users to activate the outlet. (Your users can still use the Aminiti app to activate the outlet without a QR code.)

- 3
Configure your station using the Aminiti app on the web or on your mobile device.

Authorized Use Only
Add staff and contractors by email. They authenticate on their phone and the outlet energizes — no shared keys, no keypads to maintain, and one tap to revoke when a contractor leaves the site.

Current Limits
Set an amperage ceiling for the receptacle. If a worker plugs in an EV charger, space heater, or other high-draw load you'd rather not power, Aminiti ends the session — keeping the outlet for the hand tools and small equipment it's meant for.

Scheduled Operation
Restrict outlet use to your operating hours. Prevent unauthorized and unsupervised use after hours.
